The museum tour begins with the Museum, whose entrance is located in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento in front of the Palacio Consistorial, and represents a journey back in time through its exhibition halls that culminates with the unexpected appearance of the imposing stands of the Roman Theater.You can also enjoy the Museum's temporary exhibitions this summer.
In the exhibition the Hidden Gaze by José Carlos Ñíguez, the artist shows his special gaze on a building rescued from antiquity, the Roman Theater in Cartagena, showing the viewer unpublished images captured from reality but which he has not failed to perceive.
A hidden look that generates new contemporary compositions where the color and textures are shown as a metaphor for the enigmas that hide these ancient stones, which have witnessed so many centuries of existence.
As well as Art and oral tradition in Antonio Vidal Maiquez, where the viewer will find a selection of the original Illustrations made in Chinese ink that the artist has created to accompany the stories and tales of Pablo Díaz.In addition, the Roman Theater implements its activity for the summer with a good number of routes and themed visits in collaboration with Cartagena Puerto de Culturas.
