| It was held this Wednesday, in Murcia, bringing together in the cathedral authorities and representatives of all social sectors in the region | The victims of the Covid-19 and the people who have been working since the start of the pandemic to combat the spread of the virus and its effects were honored on Wednesday, July 22, in an act that brought together municipal, regional and military authorities, affected family members and representatives of the labor sectors that were considered essential and did not stop their activity during the State of Alarm.The act, which began with a funeral mass in the Murcia cathedral, was attended by the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, who attended on behalf of the municipality.After the funeral, which was officiated by the Bishop Emeritus of Burgos, Francisco Gil, an act of tribute was held in the Plaza del Cardenal Belluga in which a health worker who contracted the disease exercising her profession and the daughter of a deceased Covid-19 acted as spokespersons for those affected by this pandemic.
