| The work, worth 203,000 euros, will be undertaken from the surplus of the water service | The Governing Board has given the green light to the renovation of the sanitation and supply network on the San Juan Bosco avenue in Los Dolores, for a value of 203,000 euros, which will be undertaken from the surplus of the water service.“This work will allow, on the one hand, to solve the flood problems that have been suffering for years the homes and streets of this area, and on the other, the sanitation network will be renewed, which in recent years has had frequent network blockages that prevent the correct evacuation of wastewater and the generation of odors in the area, ”said the vice mayor, Noelia Arroyo, who stressed that it was“ a request from the residents of Los Dolores and a priority for this Government ”.This action involves the modernization of the water service provided by the City Council, replacing the fiber cement pipes with more modern ductile iron pipes that will avoid possible breaks.
Once the work is completed, the asphalting of the streets and sidewalks will also be renewed, with the intention of expanding them to improve their accessibility. This work joins the one already approved just a month ago, by the sanitation network in Casas del Pino, “a historical claim from the neighbors that has already been answered, which will mean improving access to the area and the installation of the sanitation network ”, Arroyo recalled.
