15: 07h.- A worker whose personal data has not come out, died this afternoon when he was trapped under a concrete mixer in a construction company in Cartagena.A call to the 1-1-2 RM Emergency Coordination Center alerted the accident, indicating that the worker was unconscious, trapped under a concrete mixer in a construction company located on the La Unión-El Algar highway.
Immediately, firefighters from the Consortium for Fire Fighting and Rescue of the Region of Murcia, firefighters from the Fire Fighting and Rescue Service of Cartagena, an ambulance from the La Unión Emergency Service have moved to the scene of the accident.
The Local Police of La Unión (which has indicated that it is the municipality of Cartagena), the Civil Guard and the ISSL Technician have also been informed.Health workers from the Emergency Management and Health Emergencies 061 have confirmed the death of the worker, and reported that they attended another worker on-site due to an anxiety crisis.
CEIS firefighters remain at the scene, awaiting judicial authorities to proceed with the release of the deceased worker.
At the same time, the Head of Operations of the 1-1-2 RM Emergency Coordination Center has activated the Emergency and Disaster Intervention Group of the College of Psychologists of the Region of Murcia, to attend to workers and their families.
