| Through this action, aimed at advancing the sustainable city model, the city will be able to receive guidance to move towards digital transformation | Cartagena has been selected as one of the 100 cities that will participate in the European ICC (Smart Cities Challenge) call to advance the sustainable and smart city model through the advice of specialists in the digital transition, informed the delegate councilor of European Projects and Sustainable City, Cristina Mora."It is a new opportunity for Cartagena that will work together with cities in the European Union taking advantage of advanced technologies, to face the health crisis and move forward in a greener, smarter and more sustainable municipality", stressed Mora.The councilor explained that "Cartagena will receive, along with the rest of the 100 European cities, personalized and high-quality guidance to mark a roadmap towards digital transformation." You will participate in group trainings and a series of high-level events, and you will collectively plan large-scale changes.This new European project will be added to the rest of the funds obtained by the Cartagena City Council to promote the Cartagena of the future, within the Action Plan against Climate Change and the development plans for Cartagena, a smart and sustainable city.
