The Local Government Board approved this Monday, July 20, in an extraordinary session chaired by the Deputy Mayor, Noelia Arroyo, the availability of more than one million euros that will allow works to be carried out in neighborhoods and provincial councils.
Health, sports and cultural infrastructures form the Neighborhoods and Provincials Plan 2020-2021.The projects that will be the object of this investment are the first phase of expansion of the Pozo Estrecho Music School, two clinics, in Santa Ana and Playa Honda; the first phase of the reform of the Athletics Track, the renovation of the furniture on the Poniente and Cabo de Palos beaches, improvements to the pavement of the Municipal Pavilion of Alumbres and the rehabilitation project for the Los Belones Soccer Field."These are works that are highly demanded by the residents and necessary to improve our neighborhoods and councils.

We are talking, for example, about the Santa Ana medical office or the Playa Honda reform, as well as the Los Belones soccer field rehabilitation project.
We committed ourselves to the neighbors and we are going to fulfill our promise ”, the first municipal mayor has detailed.Medical consultantsAs for health infrastructures, the reform of the Playa Honda medical office will be carried out, with a budget of 80,000 euros.
The works will focus above all on expanding the facilities to adapt the center to the sanitary requirements demanded by the Murcian Health Service.The expansion will allow the office to have general and pediatric consultation rooms, as well as a waiting room, reception, warehouse, etc.
It will also have adapted toilets.On the other hand, the construction of the Santa Ana medical office is also included in the investments of this Plan.
The total amount is 298,250 euros.
The medical center will have a useful area of ??201.73 square meters and will have a lobby, a reception, two waiting rooms, a pediatric consultation and treatment rooms, three family doctor consultations, a treatment room, three toilets and a warehouse.Rehabilitation of the Los Belones soccer fieldThe Los Belones soccer field rehabilitation project is one of the most demanded works and also represents the highest investment in the entire plan.
In total, the tender amount is 370,525 euros.
The works will consist of the installation of an artificial grass mat, where the game of Soccer 11 and Soccer 7 is compatible, as well as the necessary sports equipment and nets to prevent the launching of balls off the field.Improvements in the municipal pavilion of AlumbresThe works will consist of replacing the pavement of the municipal pavilion of Alumbres, which was deteriorated and will be carried out for an amount of 50,000 euros.First phase of reform of the Athletics TrackThe Athletics Track, which already has new changing rooms, will continue to be subject to reform.
Artificial grass will be installed on 9th Street and adjoining areas of the track and the exterior and interior of warehouses and sports locker rooms, both for teaching and high performance, will be remodeled.
It will also have new supports for the launch cage and hangars for the competition mats, the repair of the perimeter fencing of the track and the repainting of the regulatory competition lines.
These works will have an amount of 150,000 euros.First phase of expansion of the Pozo Estrecho music schoolAnother project that is part of the Plan of Neighborhoods and Provincial Councils is the expansion of the Pozo Estrecho music school, which will have a new multipurpose concert hall with space for 300 people, a stage for an orchestra, a dressing room area and a warehouse.
.Poniente and Cabo de Palos beach furnitureThe Cabo de Palos area and the Poniente beaches will have new urban furniture such as 20 benches, two hat and platform pergolas and a watchtower, and whose total amount is 30,000 euros.
