| Aid has gone from 10,000 to 30,000 euros this year, as entities needed extraordinary support to improve their spaces | The Department of Equality has tripled this year the item of equipment in the subsidies to the groups of women and entities that work for equality.

The amount has gone from 10,000 euros the previous year to 30,000 for the present and responds to the need for associations to implement improvements in their premises.“This is being a different year in which activities have been significantly reduced due to sanitary restrictions and we have also seen that many of the groups needed extra support to be able to condition their spaces, so that users are more comfortable and they can develop new projects.

That is why we wanted to expand the item for equipment, "explained the mayor of the Equality area, David Martínez Noguera.For this 2020, the total amount of the subsidies amounts to 80,000 euros, of which 50,000 will be dedicated to activities, and that will be distributed among the 70 women's associations, groups and entities that work for equality.
