| Quality teaching, inclusive training, the promotion of new technologies, innovation and research or the fight against the underground economy, main objectives | The Regional Confederation of Business Organizations of Cartagena (COEC) has presented the recently formed Regional Educational and Training Association (ACEFCAR) 'Graduated Schools of Cartagena'.A regional association that was born with "the purpose of joining forces between the self-employed and companies in the private training sector and defending their business interests, as well as to reinforce regional sentiment not only at the training level, but as a source of wealth, energizing and professionalizing the productive sector ".
This has been expressed by the president of ACEFCAR, José Luis Reverte, who explained that the name emerges to highlight a national historical milestone in educational matters, such as the first Graduate Schools that are still preserved in Cartagena.For her part, the president of COEC, Ana Correa, praised the launch of this association that "will work to ensure that the region takes a leap in quality in the educational field."Regulated and non-regulated education, the defense of VET, both private and public universities, access to new technologies and, ultimately, the promotion of quality education, will be the main objectives of the association.Reverte has also highlighted the importance of working for inclusive training, where people with some type of disability can be fully integrated into education and society.In addition, the President of ACEFCAR has announced that they will fight against the underground economy of the sector and will work to promote teaching innovation and research in the field of education, both university and non-university.
They will also promote online teaching and the implementation of new technologies in the educational field among its members.
Also, language learning will be promoted through outreach campaigns and actions.Another of the lines of work will be to promote meetings, seminars, congresses and conferences in the educational and cultural field to favor the teaching sector.
To which it also happens to strengthen ties with the different municipal public organizations of the different municipalities of the region, Autonomous Community and state, as well as European and international training.For all this, ACEFCAR will have various sectoral branches: new technologies and innovation, hospitality training and gastronomic culture, gerontology and care for the elderly, sports training, cultural training and historical heritage, training in the direction of industrial and agricultural operations, training of academies, foreign language, health training, among others.Transparency and information will be key for the association, which will enhance communication with all its members, as well as with the society of the Comarca del Campo de Cartagena, making available a website and social networks (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter ).During the act, he has also been presented to the ACEFCAR board of directors: the presidency is held by the José Luis Reverte Academy (Reverte Ors y Meroño SL), the vice presidency is in charge of Gaia Cultural, the Official College of Telecommunications Engineers of the Region of Murcia (COITERM) will be in charge of the secretariat and the treasury has fallen to the Los Dolores Veterinary Center (Training).The President of the Chamber of Commerce of Cartagena, among other personalities of the economic and social life of the Comarca del Campo de Cartagena, also attended the Rector of the UPCT.
