The norm includes a 75% capacity limitation and the Cartagena City Council has asked the presidents and members of each of them to try to bring together the plenary sessions as much as possible to avoid concentrations of people in interior spaces.As for the social venues, they will remain open in the same conditions as until now, at least until September 15, so that those with a cafeteria and OMITA will be open to the public with the relevant capacity and distance restrictions.Similarly, despite the end of the State of Alarm, the festivities in the neighborhoods and towns of the municipality continue to be suspended, given that the measures of social distancing of 1.5 meters are maintained and the capacity continues to be limited.In addition, the City Council has decided to open the children's play areas of the municipality on July 1, with the implementation of an appropriate disinfection protocol.
The local government also ask parents and users of these public spaces for responsibility, since all the measures being taken are to guarantee the safety of children.All these measures have the support of the Federation of Neighborhood Associations (FAVCAC), whose president, Leandro Sánchez, has indicated that he agrees with the decision not to open the social premises for activities and leave it to the discretion of the presidents of each neighborhood association.
