| The MC member in the Neighborhood Board announces an initiative for the conditioning of RM-311 as it passes through El Albujón | With the completion of the works on Calle Telefónica, the works on Avenida Constitución in El Albujón (whose first phase was completed a year ago) will soon have concluded.

It is an action framed in the Participatory Budgets of 2017, the initiative institutionalized during the Mayor's Office of MC Cartagena to give voice to the neighbors in the definition of priorities for their environment. The project, drawn up in MC's field of competence during his time in government, has suffered the rude inoperation of Castejón and his team, who kept the works stalled for more than half a year. The disadvantaged of this situation, the neighbors, who have suffered a year of discomfort, mud, puddles and even insulation because they cannot leave their homes and travel normally after any significant rain. The situation has been assessed by the MC spokesman at the Neighborhood Board of El Albujón Miranda, José Andrés Las, who recalled the initiatives of his training in this management body and also from the municipal Group to claim speed. Next, Las has stated that the second phase of rainwater works that will soon begin with a charge to the surplus of Hidrogea to solve drains in different points of the town (San Isidro, Sierra Iguana, Sierra Gata and Sierra Gádor), and with drainage at a point of the old N301 at the height of the Alto area, could be a point of incidence.

Especially, if the volume of drainage from RM-E33, recently reformed and which will converge with that of the new work, is not taken into account, in addition to its conduction to other pipes. Similarly, the representative of MC Cartagena has stated that "the neglect of the regional administration for the last fifteen years and the ineffectiveness in the management of the local government is confirmed in the poor condition of the 1 kilometer sign of the RM- 311 in El Albujón ". For this reason, José Andrés Las has announced that his training will propose at the next plenary session of the Neighborhood Council that "the municipal Executive work on the elaboration of a project or proposal that urges the CARM to condition this section of road with security services , lighting, bicycle lane and the necessary infrastructures.

This, in exchange for assuming ownership, which is the determining factor that the General Directorate of Roads has been proposing in these years.
