The placement of the new lawn has an allocation budget of 275,018.82 euros and, if everything goes according to plan, it will be finished by September this year.As for the Molinos Marfagones field, located on Calle Lebeche number 14, the winning company has also started the works, with a budget of 260,656.25 euros and an execution period of 3 months.
As the mayor has recalled, "these investments are the result of the commitments we made in the past with the soccer schools of La Soledad and San Cristóbal, which for years had demanded improvements for their fields and which will soon be a reality".The installation of the new lawn is included in the Financially Sustainable Works plan with a charge to the surplus for 2018.
The Deputy Mayor recalled that “they are the first two fields in a series of ten artificial grass installations with which the entire circuit will be completed of soccer fields in use of the municipality of Cartagena.
The remaining eight will be created through the multi-year plan, which is valued at 2 million euros, of which 400,000 have been recorded this year.
