| Health will now clean the plot and disinsect it to avoid the proliferation of pests | The Cartagena City Council has proceeded to eliminate the stagnation of water from a plot of the Paseo Alfonso XIII after the authorization of the Administration of Justice to access and act on the plot, which is located between the main avenue and Juan de la Cosa and Tender Galván.The Department of Health, led by Manuel Padín, took samples last Monday of the stagnant water in the site to carry out the necessary analyzes for its treatment.
These studies revealed that these were optimal waters for discharge into the sewerage network, as they contained a Conductivity of 2000 and a Ph of 7.2.Once the water has been removed, the area will work on scrub cleaning and on the disinsection of the plot through the concessionary company for pest control, with the aim of preventing the proliferation of mosquitoes. The Councilor for Health has reiterated his thanks to the administration of justice for having "attended to this case and provided a solution to a problem that has been present in Cartagena for approximately seven years, and that is damaging to many neighbors, since mosquitoes move to other zones.
