'La Terraza de La Muralla' will be inaugurated with the new program of the 'Xtraordinary Nights of El Batel', which will feature eleven performances, most of them with a double program, and with very affordable prices. The program of live performances will be held between June and September, adapting to the current situation of COVID-19.

'La Terraza de La Muralla' will have numbered seats that will allow social distancing and will be adapted to the capacity allowed in the different phases of the de-escalation.A String Quartet, AA Mama + Nunatak, Río Viré + El Niño de la Hipoteca, Road Ramos + Karmacadabra, Martita de Graná, Ayoho + Arde Bogotá, Fernando Rubio & The Inner Demons + Marañones, The Red Room, Soleá Morente, María de Juan + MAVICA and Sen Senra are the shows that can be enjoyed at the 'Xtraordinary Night of El Batel'.As stated by the councilor for the area of ??Culture, Youth and Equality, David Martínez, “the musicians have accompanied us and made these months of confinement easier for us.

It is time for all of us to thank him for his work and his generosity for us in these difficult days, buying tickets for his shows.

I encourage you to be part of this program, in which all the necessary safety and hygiene measures to enjoy music will be guaranteed.

”Martínez Noguera added that “this new space will make us enjoy a fun, warm program with the most cutting-edge of the local and national scene.

The Terrace of La Muralla will host live shows between the months of June and September, with numbered seats and maintaining all the security measures ”.Batel will have its first performance on June 27.

The String Quartet composed by the young musicians Pablo Arnau Sabater, viola; María José Martínez García, cello; and Alicia Martínez Trillo and Javier Valero Lobato as violins, will perform the following pieces: Adagio for Strings, Op.

11, by Samuel Barber; Gavota, by Manuel Ponce; Estrellita, also by Manuel Ponce and the String Quartet No.

12, known as 'Americano', by Antonín Dvorak. The concerts in July will start on the 10th with two performances, that of AA Mama and that of Nunatak.

AA Mama (Warn Mom), is urgent music sung from the heart, with absolute independence of style and with a very personal voice range of women, which reviews American music, independent rock.

A current singer-songwriter's music, which is difficult to define.

With the title 'Llama when you arrive' it will offer a collection of songs, which are an energetic chronicle of the vital concerns and fears of an enthusiastic, strong and prepared generation, which channels its existential crisis with irony and reflection.

Live is capable of transmitting, even more so, that strength, that vocal domain and that feeling. The band Nunatak, well known to the public of the city of Cartagena who saw them born in 2014, will take over on stage.

The Cartagena have released their fourth album, 'Nunatak and the wild flowers', with ten songs built pampering each detail and the stories that become part of everyone's life as soon as they reach the ear.

According to critics, over the past six years Nunatak has shone, but it is with this latest album that he "polishes his light on all the technical and artistic details to make them flash."On July 17 you can also enjoy the performance of two artists, this time they will be that of Río Viré and El Niño de la Hipoteca.

Río Viré is the project of the Cartagena singer-songwriter RubénBeautiful villa.

His compositions tell the story of his life and career, approached from the perspective of themes such as love, our society and, above all, stories.

His music, always captured from delicacy and good taste, is full of poetry, respect for language and its form, and a lot of truth.

Everything in his arrangements revolves around the lyrics, perfectly cushioning it and accompanying it with a completely polished sound.

His work has a very careful instrumentation and is surrounded by some of the main musicians of the emerging Murcian scene. At the end of Río Viré, the public will be able to continue enjoying good music with El Niño de la Hipoteca, an artist who for more than a decade has cultivated a playful-anarchic style of song, as personal as it is not transferable.

'This is not a disc vol.1', although it sounds incongruous, it is his new album.

The first advance was 4 years ago with the song 'El Perro Freddy', in which he already marked a new path turning towards rock.

There were four more advances and finally the album closes with 'Yonki' and 'The International Day of Sadness', released last year.

During this process a new direction is appreciated in his music with punk and rock overtones, without losing the essence, sometimes acoustic, and of course with the ingenious lyrics to which El Niño de la Hipoteca is accustomed to its audience. And on July 24, the concert will be given by Road Ramos + Karmacadabra.

The first chords that will sound in this concert will be those of the songs of Road Ramos, the personal project of Murcia's Rocío Ramos, an indefinable artist who leaves no one indifferent when he goes on stage.

The ingenious, biting and incorrect singer-songwriter was shortlisted for a Goya for composing the original song for the movie 'Girl on Girl'.

Impeccable with her voice and her guitar, she is an atypical artist, who has always found herself in no man's land, although some call her a singer-songwriter and others punk.

His rebellious lyrics speak from the violence of positivism, the internal struggle of not seeking value in oneself through the valuation of others, as well as the search for self-love.Karmacadabra is much more than a music group, it is a collective that emerges from the street and feels supported by it.

A synthesis of world music, fine arts, performing arts and life experiences.

These are some of the points that define your musical project.

His shows are full of rhythm and joy, integrated into an energy that pushes you to move, that seduces and integrates.

This 2020 they released their first album "Somos Barrio" together with a national tour that was interrupted by the pandemic but now they are taking it up again to be able to enjoy it live. And it will close the month of July, on the 30th, Martita de Graná.

In this time of confinement, many have been the humorous videos that have gone viral, those of Martita de Graná have been some of them.

She is currently one of the most fun and media influencers.

His success is so great that his father still does not believe it; hence the name of his show 'Mi padre flipa'.

If you have been followers of what you tell in your videos and, above all, how you tell it, you cannot miss the opportunity to see it live and enjoy its self-confidence.On August 1 it will be the turn of two of the Cartagena groups that currently have more national projection such as: Ayoho and Arde Bogotá.

Passion, truth and fun are the words that describe the sound of the former.

Ayoho won the second edition of the Vodafone Yu Music Talent, prevailing among more than 1,100 artists, with a sound that oscillates between catchy and contemporary urban pop, and acoustic elegance.

Currently, the band is heading towards a new path with songs in Spanish, looking for combinations of elements of rock, pop, with other Spanish classics, latest trends and electronics to achieve a new urban genre in Spanish. For its part, Arde Bogotá is an emerging band from Cartagena.

The powerful and ragged voice of Antonio García, its vocalist, will perform songs that speak of love, youth and the future.

A voice wrapped in guitars with a certain touch of shoegaze and distortion.

Arde Bogotá has published three advances of what will be their first work, an EP recorded just before the COVID19 crisis, produced in a period of confinement and that will be released in June this year with Sony Music.

It could be said that there is not a great journey behind these four boys but they have a live show loaded with security, solvency, interpretation and self-confidence that has already been noticed on the national music scene, drawing the attention of music critics and a great company that endorses them.On August 8, Fernando Rubio's performance will open the extraordinary night that will be completed with the live music of the Marañones.

Fernando Rubio has 'Cheap Chinese Guitar' on the market considered one of the best albums of 2018, according to the national press.

There are very few lists in which Rubio's second solo album does not appear as one of the best albums of that year.

He was also chosen as the best album of the year by Luis Lapuente (Sonideros, Radio 3), and entering ABC charts, Rockdelux, Mondosonoro, Alquimia Sonora, and Muzikalia.
