Arroyo explained that "this action was a request from the neighbors to enable a play space for children and adults next to the social premises" and recalled that "it has involved an investment of 45,000 euros, which is part of the plan to improve the infrastructures and public lighting that will be carried out in the southern towns of the Mar Menor with a budget of approximately 250,000 euros ”.Once this work is finished, the planned performance will begin in Los Nietos.
In it, the perimeter fencing of the sports court that was in very poor condition will be replaced by a more modern one that improves the aesthetics of the area, and a fenced playground will also be installed.Arroyo, who has been accompanied by the presidents of the Neighborhood Board, Francisca Martínez, and the Neighbors Association, Elena Lledó, has indicated that the City Council "will remodel the lighting in El Carmolí and that of the Punta Brava promenade with LED technology, following the Government's commitment to improving energy efficiency in the municipality ".
Both projects have a budget of 50,000 euros each, the El Carmoli lighting improvement is in the contracting phase, while the Punta Brava promenade project is being drafted by the technicians of the Department of Infrastructure and Litoral.With all these improvements, Arroyo has indicated that "the residents of the towns of the Mar Menor needed a boost in the improvement and maintenance of their infrastructures and services and these works will allow them to have leisure and sports spaces in better conditions."
