| This new infrastructure responds to a historical demand by the residents of La Loma de Canteras, La Vaguada, San José Obrero and Molinos Marfagones | The Governing Board of the Cartagena City Council, chaired by the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, has approved on Friday afternoon the transfer to the Autonomous Community of a municipal plot, located in Viña del Mar street, so that it can start the construction of a roundabout at the intersection of said street with RM 332.This new infrastructure responds to a demand from the residents of La Loma de Canteras, La Vaguada, San José Obrero and Molinos Marfagones, which dates back more than a decade and with it will eliminate one of the black spots of traffic in the municipality of Cartagena ."We are aware that it has been a very long process, but we can finally tell the residents that the roundabout will be a reality very soon," said the mayor.ROMAN FORUM MUSEUMLikewise, the Government Board has reported the transfer, this time by the Autonomous Community, of two plots located on the lower floor of the 487-square-meter health center in the old town, and which the City Council will use to install the museum collection of the Museum of the Roman Forum.The mayor explained that “this is one more step so that, foreseeably in the fall of this year, we can enjoy this wonderful collection, which will allow us to take a tour of the entire history of our city from the end of the 3rd century BC to the XIX and XX century ”.The Community transfers this space to the City Council for free for a period of 20 years with the possibility of extending it.WEB REGULATION AND SOCIAL NETWORKSThe Governing Board has also approved the project for the Regulation of Creation and Use of Web Pages and Social Networks of the City of Cartagena, which seeks to highlight the institutional nature of these communication channels and to promote participation and transparency.In this way, a procedure is established for the implementation of new web portals and profiles on social networks, including the officers of the Neighborhood Boards, and the coordination of existing ones is defined, which should be in charge of municipal public employees.

.In addition, some rules of style are established in terms of language and content, and the use by municipal groups of a space for direct expression is regulated where they can give their vision of government management and propose their alternatives.The elaboration of the project has been carried out after the mandatory citizen consultation.

After its approval by the municipal government, it will soon be submitted to the Plenum of the City Council for its initial approval and public exposure.
