Cartagena firefighters have rescued by sea two hikers who were in the vicinity of Fatares beach, at the foot of Mount Roldán, from where they could not leave.
The rescued women, 18 and 23 years old, have not needed healthcare.1-1-2 received a call from those affected at 2:41 p.m.
The callers reported that they had left from Tentegorra to the Mirador del Roldán and from there they had tried to go down to the beach, but they were stiff and exhausted.
After multiple and unsuccessful attempts to contact them again, it was finally achieved that they were close to Fatares beach.Firefighters from the Firefighting, Rescue and Civil Protection Service of the City of Cartagena had mobilized a rescue boat, which has located them and transferred them to the port of Cartagena, in apparent good condition.
