| Starting this Monday, May 25, users can book by phone or email the ten centers that are part of the network of municipal libraries | The libraries of Cartagena will open from June 1 by appointment, and from this Monday, May 25, users can already make the reservation by phone or email of the ten centers that are part of the circuit of municipal libraries of the port city.Libraries are currently being conditioned to be able to access them with all the security measures and at the moment, they will offer the loan and returns service, hoping to expand more services in the short term.

The rest of the services will be offered in accordance with the recommendations issued by the Ministry of Culture and Sports and when hygiene and disinfection measures can be guaranteed for library spaces, furniture and computers, among others.It is reopened to the public guaranteeing all the safety and prevention measures recommended by the health authorities.

For access to the library, it is recommended to use the disinfectant soap before entering, use a mask inside the library, maintain the marked safety distance, that is, 2 meters interpersonal distance and one meter from the counter.It is recommended to access a single person to the library, except in exceptional cases of accompaniment for dependents, minors and people with disabilities.

In addition, you must respect the marked entry and exit routes and avoid touching furniture, walls or knobs in the library.The Municipal Library Network of Cartagena continues while carrying out online activities to encourage reading.

Every Friday and until June 12 at 5:00 p.m., storytelling is taking place through its social networks for its smallest users.

In addition, every Tuesday at 17:00 there are games where users' knowledge of literature is found and creative workshops given by Arteando.
