Emergency health services transport an 80-year-old man to the hospital who was injured during the fire in his home, located in the San Antón neighborhood of Cartagena.1-1-2 received calls reporting the fire at 5:15 p.m.
They indicated that they saw flames and black smoke coming out of a house on Hospitalidad Street in the aforementioned Cartagena neighborhood and that there was an elderly person inside.
Local Police patrols, firefighters from the Fire Extinguishing Service and Rescue and Civil Protection of the City of Cartagena and a Mobile Emergency Unit (UME) of the Emergency Management and Health Emergencies 061 moved to the place.After being rescued, the occupant of the house, an 80-year-old man, was stabilized by the health workers and transferred to the "Virgen de la Arrixaca" hospital in Murcia, affected by burns and smoke inhalation.
