From next May 28, the Local Development and Employment Agency of the Cartagena City Council (ADLE) launches a series of online courses through its virtual classroom that will last until July.
Specifically, this virtual training stage will offer four courses of 40 hours each and in which the user will be able to access through any mobile device, in a simple and practical way.The virtual training courses will be tutored at all times by the teacher, with a maximum capacity of 15 students per course, which will facilitate fluid, fast and accurate interactive communication between the teacher and the participants.
"Since the start of the state of alarm, the ADLE has been working to provide, through its virtual classroom, to workers and unemployed people in our municipality, the quality training that it was offering up to now," stressed the Councilor for Education, Employment and Company and President of the ADLE, Irene Ruiz.The mayor has positively valued the initiative, which starts with courses for the hospitality sector, care for dependence and gardening.
Thus, for hospitality two courses are launched: 'Prevention standards against Covid-19 in hospitality', whose objective is that the unemployed and workers in the sector know first-hand the basic standards and tools to guarantee food safety in hospitality and preserve the health and safety of customers and workers; and 'Hospital Kitchen', which will train students in basic knowledge of cooking techniques, hospital diets, allergens and food intolerances in order to be able to adapt to the working protocol of hospital kitchens.In addition, the online course 'Food and hygiene for dependents in social institutions' has been designed for the dependency care sector, which will offer basic training in protocols and techniques for cleaning, personal hygiene and hygiene processes.
