On the occasion of the International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, which is commemorated next Sunday, May 17, the colors of the rainbow and trans flag will shine on the masts of the Consistorial Palace, at the request of the Galactyco collective."From this Friday, and throughout the weekend, the LGTBIQ and Trans flags will fly in front of the Town Hall, although, as a sign of mourning for those who died during the pandemic, they will do so at half-mast," said the Councilor for Equality, David Martínez.The Department of Equality has also launched an awareness campaign, in which, for 15 days, messages such as Living in Equality can be read on urban buses.
