The Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) has launched the #hoyportiUPCT crowdfunding campaign to help cover the enrollment of students affected by the COVID-19 crisis.The extraordinary fund will be used to defray the cost of their enrollment in official degrees taught at the UPCT.
This action is aimed at the university community, companies and institutions.
As a first step, the University has agreed with Banco Santander to contribute to the fund the amount of € 33,333, stemming from the existing collaboration agreement between both entities.
#hoyporti is a solidarity initiative in accordance with the values ??that our Code of Ethics defends, especially with the value of Commitment.
Sources of the Rectoral Team point out that "together we can ensure that no UPCT student has to give up their university career as a result of this crisis."
