Integrated in the cycle that the Cartagena City Council has launched, “Culture at home”, whose objective is to continue enjoying cultural activities from home, for this reason the libraries have developed events aimed at children and adults, which will take away carried out through their social networks.“As we did in the previous program, activities focused on children are not lacking.
We have scheduled storytelling every Friday, at 5:00 pm to transport the youngest members of the family to magical worlds where they are the protagonists, ”said the Councilor for Culture of the Cartagena City Council, Carlos Piñana.From Friday, May 15 to June 12, the storytellers, Fran Bermejo, Piruleta, Juanolo, Carles Cano and Teatro de Carmen will go through the social networks of the Cartagena libraries.
“Thanks to the success we had with the two sessions held in April with the Kahoot tool! where through games we find out the literature knowledge of the users of the municipal libraries of Cartagena, we have opted in this program to extend these sessions, and every Tuesday at 5:00 pm we will do thematic games of Harry Potter, Hache, Benedetti and the Day of the Region of Murcia ”indicates Piñana."The program will also have creative workshops taught by Arteando, where children will make their own birds and squid through pistachios and cardboard, thus discovering the true meaning of their imagination," concluded the councilor for Culture.
The municipal libraries will continue to be closed in this Phase 1, which are currently working to adapt their spaces to the new security measures.
