| The Facebook page of the Department of Culture will broadcast the concerts this weekend | The City Council of Cartagena, within its program 'Culture in your home', presents the online music festival 'We are from Here', in which young local musicians have been programmed to broadcast their concerts through the Facebook page of the Department of Culture during this weekend.Most of these artists have participated in the recording of the song 'Querida Cartagena', which has been released as a hymn of union and hope for these last days of confinement.The online music festival 'Somos deHere' takes as its starting point the essence of one of the emblematic stages of La Mar de Músicas, through which the musicians of the Region of Murcia are supported every year; in this case they will all be local musicians from Cartagena.
The meeting will take place this weekend (May 8, 9 and 10), with an online concert grill, at times that will be announced soon.The event will feature various musicians from the local scene, although emerging singers and musicians predominate, representing the future of music in Cartagena, as one of the best artistic hordes of recent times.
In addition, the commitment to Equality of the City Council is remarkable, always trying to develop programs with the highest possible gender parity.
