| The Youth Department adapting its programming to confinement through distance initiatives such as this one | The Language Exchange of the Department of Youth is adapting its programming to the confinement situation.

An example of this is an online workshop that will help you prepare for the PET (Cambridge Exams Preliminary English Test) from home.This online workshop has a total of 20 places and is aimed at those who already have a B1 level and want to prepare and practice the PET exam format, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ??(CEFR), which allows them to achieve an internationally recognized certification.“It is important that young people continue to train.

This online workshop allows you to get an official title in English, which is very important when it comes to getting a job, "explained Youth Councilor David Martínez.The workshop will last eight weeks, and is scheduled to start on Monday, May 11.

This distance training can be accessed through any electronic device –pc, tablet, mobile- by assisting participants to sessions through digital platforms, reinforcing their learning through scheduled tutorials.Those registered will be notified by email a few days before, providing the address and platform through which they can access.

Those interested in this training may register until next May 6, through the process of Courses and Workshops of the Department of Youth that they will find in the Electronic Office of the City of Cartagena, there is no age requirement.The Language Exchange is a program of the Mobility Space of the Youth Space of the Department of Youth, which aims to promote the learning and practice of languages ??without having to leave Cartagena, free of charge for the participant and in an informal context .
