| The councilor for the Area, María Casajús, has also reported other actions in the area of ??Jorge Juan, La Manga and Los Puertos de Santa Bárbara | The access roundabout to the Santa Lucía Hospital will improve its lighting with the placement of two 12-meter-high columns and LED projectors, by technicians from the Department of Infrastructure, to guarantee the safety of vehicles that pass by this route, as reported by the Area Councilor, María Casajús.Casajús explained that "the work has already started and it is intended to increase lighting in a fairly busy area, especially in these times, improving the visibility of drivers who use this road at night." This action is in addition to the rest of the work being carried out in the municipality of Cartagena to improve and modernize public lighting included in the Energy Efficiency Plan, which aims to incorporate led lighting to contribute to a more sustainable and efficient Cartagena.

.IMPROVEMENT OF LIGHTING IN JORGE JUAN, LA MANGA AND THE PORTS OF SANTA BÁRBARAIn Jorge Juan, the councilor has indicated that a LED projector has been installed in the car park located next to the Association of Residents of Ciudad Jardín, as well as lighting fixtures in poor condition in the parks in the area.

Specifically, “a 10-meter-high column with a LED projector has been installed to enhance the lighting of the car park located between the premises of the Neighborhood Association and Calle Antonio Oliver, as well as lighting with LED technology in the Gaviota street playground; in addition, to place a new point of light in the pedestrian space between Calle Carmen Conde and Picasso and the renovation of four lights in the park located between Calle Ángel Bruna and Wssell de Guimbarda with reused lighting material from the area that is located in good state".In Los Puertos de Santa Bárbara, the work is in its final phase with the installation of 14 new light points, on the section of RM-332, between Las Grillas, on its way to Tallante and Los Alamos Area.

In coordination with the Autonomous Community, 10 meter high columns have been used with reused luminaires that are in perfect condition.

"It was a demand from the residents that will improve public lighting in this western area of ??the municipality of Cartagena."In La Manga, Casajús explained that "we have carried out renovation work on 7 columns of the street lamps in the median of Gran Vía that were badly damaged".
