| This action adds to the reinforcement of the cleaning and disinfection of containers and urban furniture that has been carried out since start of the state of alarm for the health crisis | The municipal brigades have increased since last Friday the cleaning and disinfection of public spaces, such as the squares and main streets of the municipality of Cartagena to guarantee the protection of children under the age of 14 and their companions who, from today Sunday, 26 April, they can go out on the street for an hour, as reported by the councilor for the Infrastructure Area, María Casajús, according to the standard established by the Government of the Nation."In recent days," Casajús said, "work has been intensified in squares, promenades and malls and the main streets of the city and neighborhoods and councils to guarantee the safety of parents and children, while continuing with the cleaning and disinfection that the members of the cleaning service have been carrying out since the alarm state was activated ”.

Specifically, the councilor has influenced, "we wanted to reinforce these public spaces where from today more Cartagena can be concentrated." The data in the municipality show the figure of almost 34,000 minors under 14 years of age registered.It must be remembered that, from the state of alarm, the municipal brigades have reinforced the cleaning and disinfection of containers, urban furniture and access to supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, health centers, and grocery stores, with the support of members of the army.
