| The successful scream of a neighbor, to check whether the person who was rummaging through the house was its owner, prevented the consummation of the robbery | The three young people fled, jumping adjacent walls and facades The investigation is still open The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, thanks to citizen collaboration, has arrested three young people with a bulky criminal record, for the attempted robbery of a house in Los Belones-Cartagena. The investigation began when the Benemérita was alerted that several young people had fled, jumping over walls and terraces, after having been caught by a neighbor inside a nearby house. Members of the Benemérita, specialized in Citizen Security Prevention, established a police device aimed at their location, with the information obtained on the clothing and their physical appearance. Exits to the neighbors' balcony prevented theft While the search was being carried out, the agents learned that it was a neighbor of the allegedly assaulted home who noticed that one of the windows was open.
Even knowing that its owner did not reside there, he repeatedly shouted his name until three young men, feeling surprised, left the interior of the house climbing through the terraces and nearby walls.
A vehicle was waiting nearby, aboard which they fled at high speed. In addition, another citizen was able to photograph them and, despite the fact that they were wearing hoodies with which they covered their faces, the Civil Guard related these profiles with those of young people who days ago had been seen prowling around the area after hours, also breaking the home confinement. In less than two hours, the agents established a police fence around the home of one of the suspects that allowed his arrest.
At that time he was wearing some of the garments that appeared in the photographs provided by the neighbors.
The Civil Guard found that, in addition, he owned a vehicle of the same make and model as the employee in the flight. Two days after this arrest, the Benemérita located and detained two other young men, all of them as alleged perpetrators of attempted robbery of a home. The three Spanish detainees, aged between 20 and 23; and residents of Los Belones-Cartagena, together with the proceedings investigated, have been placed at the disposal of the Investigating Court of Cartagena. The investigation remains open to identify the driver of the vehicle in which they fled.
