| The City Council completes the installation of partitions in the municipal offices to guarantee the sanitary measures decreed by the coronavirus | The Cartagena City Council has reinforced the cleaning work of the five medical offices that remain open during the current health crisis caused by Covid-19.

The closure of some facilities has allowed the cleaning staff assigned to the non-service units to be transferred to those who maintain their hours, which has increased disinfection efforts both inside the offices and outside, cleaning their facades and their daily access furniture.Similarly, the clothing of health workers is being removed daily for disinfection, and clean clothing is provided every day so that workers can continue to provide their services with full guarantees.

Also, the Department of Health has agreed to hire a misting service for the whole year.

With this decision, it will be possible to carry out a more exhaustive disinfection in the municipal health units through the use of a solution with quaternary ammonium, the same compound that the Murcian Health Service (SMS) is using in its facilities.Finally, the deputy mayor and head of the Health area, Manuel Padín, has indicated that he is in full collaboration with the SMS and with the state security forces to carry out the disinfection of all the sanitary facilities in the municipality.

In fact, the mayor has recalled that the Army has been carrying out cleaning tasks in municipal offices since the health crisis began and that in the near future it will also focus on doctor's offices.SCREEN INSTALLATIONTo these disinfection works, the installation of partitions in open offices will be added shortly to increase safety among workers and users of municipal offices.

The contract for the acquisition of these devices is already underway and during the next few days these screens will be placed.

At first, these objects will be installed in those centers that remain open, although they will also be placed in those sanitary units that are opened as decreed by the competent authorities.
