| The traditional informative event is re-adapted to online format due to the coronavirus crisis | The Polytechnic University of Cartagena will hold its traditional Open Door Day this Saturday.
But this year, due to the coronavirus crisis, it will be an adapted informational event and will be offered online.
Professors, students and service managers of the UPCT will offer information to future students and their families.
So far, more than a hundred young people have signed up.
Different informative sessions through Microsoft's Teams platform will offer information on the different international mobility programs, scholarships, internships, languages, volunteering and the current situation of the admission process for the next course, among other topics.This Microsoft program is the same one that the UPCT is using to teach online tutorials.
The Conference will begin at 10:00 am, with a welcome.Between 10:10 and 10:30, participants will be able to access the virtual room where a general talk about the UPCT is given.
From 10:30 a.m.
to 2:00 p.m., the heads of the different centers will be connected to respond to questions that interest enrollees about the degrees they teach, subjects, work opportunities, work methods or laboratory practices, among other topics.
.Throughout the day the different virtual rooms will be open where all those interested can answer their questions.
There will also be a virtual tour of the different UPCT facilities, as well as videos and images of the University.
