| The money has been raised from donations from the participants and organizers of the event, which had to be canceled due to the coronavirus | The Teleco LAN Party has raised 594 euros so that entities and social organizations can acquire health and protection material against the coronavirus.The organizers have donated the amount to ACCEM, which has received 360 euros, and to the Social Action Volunteer and the La Huertecica collective, for which the remaining 234 euros are distributed.These last two organizations have been proposed by the Department of Youth of the City of Cartagena.

However, the health crisis caused by the coronavirus forced the organizers to cancel the event.Once they canceled it, they gave the option to the participants who had purchased the ticket to recover the full amount of the ticket (40 euros) or to donate part or all of it so that social entities could acquire medical supplies.

In addition to those registered in the Teleco LAN Party, there have also been donations from the organizers of the event.

“It is the first year that the Teleco LAN Party has not been held, it has been a very hard blow, because we had achieved our dream of doing it at the Palacio de Deportes, but hey, we have already done a lot of advanced work and it is an opportunity to do better next year ”, says the coordinator of the Teleco LAN Party, Joaquín Cruces, adding that at least they have been able to contribute through donations to the cause.
