| The Local Development and Employment Agency meets with merchant associations to find out their needs and will undertake an intense training program | One of the sectors most affected by the COVID19 crisis is commerce.
For this reason, with the aim of learning first-hand about their needs and presenting proposals that provide solutions to these demands, the Local Development and Employment Agency of the Cartagena City Council (ADLE) held a digital meeting on Friday with the merchant associations of the municipality to present their proposal to launch an intense training program that allows them to find solutions from two different approaches.In this way, actions would be undertaken from a collective point of view, with communication and dissemination campaigns of local and individual commerce, in which each commerce that participates in the courses can find viable ideas to adopt them in their businesses.To adapt this training offer to the real needs of businesses, a survey was presented at the meeting (https://generacionemprendedora.es/encuesta-comercios/) that will be carried out from the ADLE in the coming days and in which Anyone who has a business in the municipality of Cartagena can participate, in order to know their needs in online sales, electronic invoicing, remote access to the business or cybersecurity."At this time it is essential to work together with all the business sectors of the city and we are in that work," said the president of the ADLE and Councilor for Education, Employment and Business, Irene Ruiz, who participated in the telematic meeting with the mayor of Business and Tourism, Cristina Pérez Carrasco, and the manager of the ADLE, Fulgencio Cerón."Our objective is to help Cartagena's economic activity to start as soon as possible and in the best possible conditions, adapting to new technologies," said Irene Ruiz.The merchants, represented by the presidents of the ten associations that are established in the municipality, highly valued the meeting and agreed during it that new technologies and the tools they carry are vital.The survey, which is already active, can be accessed from the ADLE website (https://adle.cartagena.es).This initiative is in addition to those carried out so far by ADLE to help workers, companies and the self-employed, such as the telematic resource guide that can be accessed from the ADLE website.
And, the Local Development and Employment Agency is making all its resources available to workers, self-employed workers and companies that are currently experiencing difficulties due to the COVID19 crisis.
