| From this Saturday they will rotate through the different posts in shifts in the morning, afternoon and evening, accompanied by veteran officers | The 44 students of the Cartagena Local Police Academy have joined the different services this Saturday, April 18, to begin their practices.The Councilor for Citizen Security, Juan Pedro Torralba, explained that "we have had to advance the practices since they cannot continue with the remaining part of theory, which is approximately three weeks."On Thursday, April 16 and Friday, April 17, future police officers received specific training on how to proceed during the health crisis caused by COVID19, separated into groups of a maximum of 11 people.Starting today, students will start rotating through the different services, in morning, afternoon and evening shifts.
In this way, they will go through Citizen Security, the Traffic Judicial Police, Family Protection, the Municipal Archive, the City Hall, San Miguel and the base, always accompanied by veteran agents."Once the practices conclude and the State of Alarm decree is suspended, they will be able to continue with the theory and as planned, they will be able to swear their positions as Local Police officers in the month of July," the mayor concluded.
