| The UPCT joins a program to create start-ups in the aerospace sector | The Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) participates in the IoT Tribe Space Endeavor initiative, an acceleration program for European start-ups in the aerospace sector that will take place over the next two years.IoT Tribe Space, from the European Union, is part of the SPACE program linked to research related to robotics, artificial intelligence, embedded systems, FPGAs (field-programmable gate array), power electronics, etc.

The initiative is especially interesting to get new business opportunities around the technologies that are applied or can be applied in the aerospace sector, or in other productive sectors that can be commercialized, by creating or participating in a startup or spin-off » , Explain .The IoT Tribe program aims to replicate the success already demonstrated in the UK and Singapore.

The first step was to be the convening of three parallel events in Madrid, Marseille and Bucharest, which would allow a small group to gather, selecting for each event 30 people from startups, researchers, entrepreneurs, mentors and professionals.The workshops are re-adapted to online format due to the coronavirus crisis.

The workshop consists of three half-day online sessions to connect the ecosystem between the hubs.These will be held on April 21, 23 and 28.

Participants in this initiative will thus be able to access cutting-edge technologies and be part of a European ecosystem, take advantage of new business opportunities related to the aerospace sector, enrich their current approaches to the development of their products and receive advice to grow their presence in the market.
