The Asadero de Pollos Maribel and the restaurant El Paso de los Elefantes have also joined the social emergency device launched by the Cartagena City Council.
In the morning of today, Wednesday, April 15, they have delivered four pallets of basic food for vulnerable families in the municipality.
The shipment includes eggs, legumes, fried tomato, cookies, sugar and cocoa.
The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, has once again highlighted that “the generosity of the people of Cartagena is endless.
Thanks to the owners of Asadero de Pollos Maribel and Paso de los Elefantes for this contribution that is vital for many of our neighbors. ”
The owner of the Maribel Chicken Broiler, Juan José López Escolar, has been in charge of carrying the food and unloading it in the Wssell pavilion in Guimbarda, where the organization of the device has been centralized.
"We wanted to make our contribution to this great initiative that is very necessary for the situation we are experiencing right now.
From here, I encourage everyone to continue collaborating until this terrible crisis is over, "said López Escolar.
