The Chamber of Commerce has donated 9,000 surgical masks, 3,000 FFP2 masks and more than a thousand hydroalcoholic gels to the Cartagena City Council this Tuesday, April 14.
The president of the Chamber of Commerce, Miguel Martínez, has delivered this sanitary protection material to the Security Councilor, Juan Pedro Torralba, in the Security Park.
"The mayor asked our businessmen for help and the response was immediate.
I want to thank Miguel Martínez and all the businessmen who make up the Chamber of Commerce on behalf of the Mayor and the entire City Council for their solidarity and support at these difficult times for everyone, â€said the councilor.
The masks and hydrogels will be distributed among the hospitals of Santa Lucía and del Rosell, as well as between Firefighters, Local Police, Civil Protection and Social Services personnel and volunteers who work in the Social Emergency Operation.
