The Cartagena City Council launches the 'Culture in your home' program, full of plans so that citizens do not leave their homes but can continue to enjoy cultural activities.
In this way, since the public cannot go to cultural centers, they will be installed in their homes through the Internet.
Starting this Monday, April 13 and until next Sunday, May 3, the Department of Culture will broadcast concerts, courses and virtual visits to museums through its social networks, among other activities, and will also celebrate Book Day (April 23) ) and the World Dance Day (April 29), in 'Culture in your home'.
PROGRAMMING
This Monday the activities begin with the digital photography workshop with mobile, which will be taught by Fructuoso Navarro from the photography area of ​​the Popular University.
Through this workshop, they will offer some basic notions to learn how to use the mobile phone and make the most of the photographs.
This same afternoon, Lorena Marín will give some tips for healthy eating these days of confinement in 'Tips for a healthy quarantine'.
Every day the activities will be presented and disseminated through the social networks of the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena.
Every day there will be one or two activities, among which the celebration of Book Day on April 23 and a whole program organized around World Dance Day, on April 29.
From Monday 20 to Sunday 26, the main activities will be carried out by the Network of Municipal Public Libraries, with a program that revolves around the celebration of Book Day.
Also, the week of Monday 27 to Sunday 3 May, dance will be the true protagonist.
Classical dance exercises and flamenco classes for children in the mornings, and Latin rhythm workshops and samples of pieces of large ballets in the afternoons for adults, is the program prepared by the dance academies of Cartagena.
On April 29 the manifesto of the World Dance Day will be read and all users of the social networks of the Department will be invited to prepare a flashmob.
The Municipal Theater School has participated in this programming of the Department of Culture, with plays and short films presented last year;
the Popular University of Cartagena, which provides the training part of the program with pills from its courses and workshops;
the Municipal Archaeological Museum;
the Carmen Conde Board of Trustees;
the Network of Municipal Public Libraries and the dance schools of Cartagena.
The Department has also counted this Easter with the collaboration of the José María Marín Trovera Association, which has shown its trover songs through the networks during these days.
The social networks of some programs and festivals of the Cartagena City Council are also still open, where music playlists are shared, in the case of La Mar de Músicas, or as in the case of Cartagena Piensa, the program of thought and culture scientist of the Department who, through her YouTube account, offers a wide range of conferences and debates in which a large number of the best thinkers and scientists in the country and contemporary thought intervene.
