In recent days, volunteer firefighters from the Cartagena City Council have made more than two thousand non-approved face protection screens, which will complement the approved protection equipment used by health personnel from different hospital services and health centers.
The screens have been made during periods of leisure in the Security Park and at their homes with materials, machinery and support that have been provided by the company, shops and the City Council of Cartagena itself.
The volunteers have specified that these screens are not homologated nor are they PPE, but they can serve as complementary protection elements.
Some 2,124 have already been prepared and distributed to hospitals and health centers in Cartagena and the rest of the region for health personnel who want to show their support and solidarity in this way.
