The City Council of Cartagena in collaboration with the local radio station Onda Cartagena will return this Holy Thursday night to broadcast live from the Church of Santa María de Gracia the song of the Salve Cartagenera, inviting the rest of the citizens to add their voices from the balconies from their house.
The broadcast can be followed through the municipal news channel of the Cartagena City Council on YouTube and its Facebook page, also through the local radio station Onda Cartagena on 87.5 FM or from its mobile application.
At 20:45 the program will begin with interviews with the presidents of the groups of the Virgin and Ecce Homo.
Given that the Procession of Silence should have started today, just before nine o'clock at night the bells for the deceased or the prayer of the tower of Santa María de Gracia will ring and the traditional rocket will be launched to mark the opening of the doors of Santa Maria, to the sounds of a deaf drum.
The salve from Cartagena will be sung immediately, which will conclude with the interpretation of the Spanish anthem, as is also customary in the collection of all the processions.
