Cartagena hosts every Holy Wednesday the Great Procession of the Holy Christ of Prerender, the most important procession of the California Brotherhood characterized by order, solemnity and illumination of axes and thrones.
This year, with a health crisis due to the coronavirus, the procession will not be able to take place.
For this reason, the Cartagena City Council will broadcast one more day during this Holy Week the Salve Cartagenera through the YouTube channel and the Facebook page, and invites all Cartagena to join the singing.
Like these days ago, before the Salve, at 8:45 p.m., a special program will be broadcast with interviews with the Californian older brother and the president of one of the groups participating in the procession.
Later, at 9:00 p.m., bells will ring, a bolt from the Santo Domingo balcony and the Salve Cartagenera song.
The national anthem and a new bell ringing, may end the broadcast to make way for the video "Thank you Cartagena, stay at home."
