Due to the evolution of the situation derived from the COVID-19 coronavirus, the Department of Education has decided to suspend the term for the presentation of applications for admission to new admission to the municipal Infant Schools for the 2020/2021 school year, which after decreeing the Alarm status last March due to the health crisis had been extended until April 21.
In this sense, and in line with the responsibility that the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, asked the people of Cartagena as it is being done by the local administration, the deadlines are suspended and will resume when the health alert ends and the situation returns to normal.
Regarding the admission of students in Primary Education, ESO and Baccalaureate, the application deadlines are also interrupted during the state of Alarm, as reported by the Ministry of Education through its Educarm website
