Workers of the municipal service of garbage collection, street cleaning and RSU treatment plant, belonging to LHICARSA, as well as workers of FCC MEDIO Ambiente, who provide their services in the contract for Cleaning of Municipal Buildings and Cleaning of Schools, to whom The service that the company provides for Industrial Cleaning has also been joined. They have given an emotional and warm applause today to doctors, nurses, nurses and other health personnel, who work at the General University Hospital of Cartagena, where with this act, they wanted to show their deepest gratitude to these professionals for the work and great professionalism that they are carrying out, on the occasion of COVID-19.

At the doors of the hospital, the workers have been received by the manager of the Health Area II of Cartagena, Jose Francisco Sedes Romero, who was accompanied by a large representation of health workers.

The applause and the displays of affection have wanted it to also reach the patients admitted to said Hospital, so that they feel the encouragement of this group of workers in these difficult times, with the hope that they have a quick and successful recovery.

In the caravan of vehicles in which 40 vehicles have participated and which has started from the base that the company has in Torreciega, a representation of the vehicles with which Lhicarsa routinely performs the garbage collection and street cleaning service in the city, among which were collectors, cleaning trucks and sweepers, a truck from the RSU treatment plant, as well as different vans and personnel belonging to the municipal cleaning services for buildings and schools.

The vehicles had a sign on the windshield that read "UNITED AGAINST COVID-19", "THANK YOU VERY MUCH".

At the end of the event at the General University Hospital of Santa Lucia, the caravan of vehicles has gone to the Security Park, to likewise acknowledge with a round of applause the important and meritorious work that is also being carried out in this health crisis, the Municipal Police, Fire and Civil Protection of Cartagena.

Tomorrow, Wednesday at 10:30 am, this same act will take place at the gates of the National Police and Civil Guard.

The samples of gratitude and recognition of this group are also addressed to the Army present in the city, which is actively participating with the State security forces.

The Workers' Committee of Lhicarsa workers has asked for the collaboration of citizens to continue setting an example of civility, depositing the garbage correctly in the containers that are enabled for each type of waste at the established times and not leaving the themselves outside the container, since they can be a focus of infection for these personnel who are exposed to this virus, and even a risk for the rest of the population.

They have also appealed to the responsibility of citizens to remain at home, convinced that with the help of all, this health crisis will soon be overcome.
