Two monitors from the Sports Area of the Cartagena City Council approach a new training routine to do from home this Tuesday.
First the instructor of virtual classes, Yolanda, performs a table of varied exercises to exercise the whole body and later, the instructor Ana Belén Albadalejo, offers a class to learn the basic steps of salsa, one of the Latin rhythms of the discipline of zumba .
These routines are part of the initiative "Sport at Home, do not miss a beat", which presents daily exercises in pilates, cardio fitness and zumba, as well as a special section on geronto-gymnastics, to help older adults stay active at home.
These tables, and those that will be published in the coming days, have been made by sports specialists in their own homes, demonstrating that no special facilities are needed to perform adequate physical maintenance, which is very necessary during the days of isolation.
Videos with physical routines will be uploaded daily to the Cartagena City Council website and the YouTube channel.
