On Tuesday morning, March 31, the Local Police of Cartagena delivered protective materials to the hospitals of Santa Lucía and El Rosell that have been donated by a Cartagena businessman who prefers to remain anonymous.
Specifically, the City Council has received 20,000 pairs of gloves, 500 divers and 250 protective glasses, which have been distributed among the hospitals in Area II of Health, Local Police, Fire, Social Services personnel and gravediggers.
In addition, the head of the Almería Pharmacy, Javier Santoyo, delivered yesterday to the City Council more than sixty liters of hydroalcoholic solution that he has made in his laboratory.
"The wave of solidarity that has been generated among our businessmen and neighbors continues to grow.
From the City Council we are very grateful because daily we receive important donations, both of food and of protection material, which are helping us to face this serious health crisis.
Each one, according to their possibilities, donates what they can, but for us each and every one of the aids we receive are equally valuable, â€highlighted the Councilor for Citizen Security, Juan Pedro Torralba.
