Due to the confinement decreed by the Government due to the crisis caused by Covid-19, the Association of Our Father Jesus Risen has organized a drawing contest and a craft contest for the children who are part of it to pass in a way This time is more enjoyable and also, continue to foster in them the love for Easter and, especially, for Easter.
Likewise, it has organized a literary contest called 'Resucitó' for all Cartagena residents of legal age who wish to participate.
The objective is to promote brotherly sentiment despite the suspension this year of the Easter processions, in a special way, on Easter Sunday.
Children's drawing and crafts competitions
To both contests all the children registered in the group of Our Father Jesus Risen (holder of the Brotherhood of the same name) and in its subsidiaries can participate: Holy Angel of the Triumphant Cross and Holy Christ of the Resurrection;
with ages between 3 and 15 years.
The drawing or crafts presented must be related to Easter, specifically, our three groups of Easter Sunday (Our Father Jesus Risen, Holy Angel of the Cross Triumphant and Most Holy Christ of the Resurrection), it will not be worth that is related to other brotherhoods or other groups.
The craft contest aims to develop the creativity of the smallest of our groups by proposing the realization of any object related to our group and its three thirds and two thrones, it will not be worth it to be related to other brotherhoods or other groups.
For example, you can make a miniature throne, the replica of one of the images that go on those thrones, a hood, a Nazarene, a shield, an ax, a pennant ... The imagination is free to recreate, manually, what desired.
The drawings can be delivered scanned and the crafts must be presented by means of a photograph sent by email to npjesusresucitado@gmail.com.
The last day of reception will be April 12, 2020, Easter Sunday.
After the confinement decreed by the Government due to the COVID-19 crisis, both the drawings and the crafts must be delivered, since the exhibition of both is planned (the crafts will be returned to their owners, the drawings will become the property of the group) .
The drawings will be published on the Association's social networks (Twitter and Facebook).
All the participants of the contest will obtain a diploma, which will be delivered after the confinement decreed by the Government due to the Covid-19 crisis.
In addition, the participating drawings will appear in the digital magazine of the Association, 'On the third day ... He rose', from 2021.
Literary contest 'Risen'
The Association of Our Father Jesus Risen calls the literary contest 'Resurrected', in order to promote Easter in Cartagena, specifically the procession on Easter Sunday, and in turn encourage reading, writing and artistic and literary creation in the modalities of short story and poetry.
All cartageneros who wish to participate, of legal age, may participate.
Each author may present a single short story and a single poem, thus being able to participate in both modalities at the same time.
The topic will be "The procession of Easter Sunday in Cartagena" and the deadline for submission of the work ends on April 30, 2020.
