Two monitors from the Sports Area of ​​the City Council of Cartagena approach a new training routine on Monday to do from home.
Yolanda offers leg warming and, subsequently, Gloria's steps can be followed by a series of exercises in order to strengthen both the upper and lower body.
These routines are part of the initiative "Sport at Home, do not miss a beat", which presents daily exercises in pilates, cardio fitness and zumba, as well as a special section on geronto-gymnastics, to help older adults stay active at home.
These tables, and those that will be published in the coming days, have been made by sports specialists in their own homes, demonstrating that no special facilities are needed to perform adequate physical maintenance, which is very necessary during the days of isolation.
Videos with physical routines will be uploaded daily to the Cartagena City Council website and the YouTube channel.
