The Department of New Technologies of the Cartagena City Council has launched a space on the municipal website that collects all the information of interest about the coronavirus COVID 19 and which includes, as a novelty, a virtual assistant who answers 24 hours a day the questions and doubts raised by citizens.
As explained by the councilor Alejandra Gutiérrez, given the municipal information that is generated daily around the pandemic, it has been seen the need to bring it together and systematize it in a specific space on the municipal portal www.cartagena.es which can be accessed directly by means of a banner.
The space contains news, regulations, recommendations and specific resources put in place by each of the departments to adapt to the new situation of confinement and the elimination of face-to-face care.
Information on new deadlines and means of accessing electronic procedures is also included.
The space will be continually updated with information from the different municipal departments.
Among the resources it offers, the operation of the electronic assistant must be highlighted, Carina, who through a chatbot, that is, a program that uses structured messages to issue automated responses to a human interlocutor, provides reliable and verified information on aspects of this disease .
