The Cartagena Fire Department has reinforced the disinfection tasks that it regularly performs in its Security Park facilities, due to the coronavirus crisis, to avoid risk of contagion as it is one of the services that access areas or deal with people they could be carriers of the disease.
To carry out the disinfection work, they use bleach water as an essential element to disinfect the facilities.
During the morning, the cleaning services apply this solution to all the rooms in the park.
While in the afternoons, the firefighters themselves review door knobs, toilets, tables, chairs and any other element that is usually touched with their hands, including the interiors of fire fighting and transport vehicles.
Besides, once a week another in-depth performance is carried out in all park facilities.
An infrared thermometer that prevents contact with the skin has also been purchased to measure the temperature and detect possible symptoms in firefighters.
