Sixteen sports activity monitors from the Cartagena City Council have prepared exercise tables for four specialties, so that citizens can carry out physical maintenance in their homes during confinement, according to the Deputy Mayor and head of the Sports area, Noelia Arroyo. .
With the name "Sport at Home, don't miss a beat" the collection of routines will develop pilates, cardiofitness and zumba exercises, as well as a special geronto-gymnastics section, with which the City Council wants to help the elderly remain active at home .
All the boards have been made by sports specialists in their own homes, proving that no special facilities are needed to perform adequate physical maintenance, much needed during isolation days.
Videos with physical routines will be uploaded daily to the Cartagena City Council website and the YouTube channel.
This Friday, March 27, two videos will be uploaded, one with a warm-up routine and the second with a routine designed for older adults and people with reduced mobility.
