The Murcia Health Service (MS) now has the Calle Caballero residence to use the facilities during the current coronavirus pandemic.
This was reported by the manager of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), Isidro Ibarra, after the meeting held this afternoon with those responsible for the Ministry of Health of the Region of Murcia.
The Caballero Street residence, located in the historic center of the city, has 33 individual rooms.
These units will be used by health personnel.
The UPCT made its facilities available to the health authorities on the 16th in case they are necessary in the face of the current coronavirus pandemic situation.
This week has received a request indicating "the need to have availability of as many housing resources we can specify in the coming days, hours, in order to make use of the facilities as necessary."
The Alberto Colao residence, with 160 rooms, is also at the disposal of the health authorities, as are the rest of the university units.
It will be the SMS who determines which facilities you need based on the evolution of the health crisis.
