Municipal workers with the reinforcement of the brigades of the Ministry of Development completed this Wednesday, March 25, the recovery work on the La Azohía road, which crosses the Rambla de El Cañar, which was affected by the heavy rains last Monday .
The Councilor for Infrastructures, María Casajús, explained that "the brigades began yesterday the arrangement of said road that was flooded before the rise of the boulevard."
For this, "throughout the day, the rambla was swept with two shovels and a truck, proceeding quickly to clean the road and recover the traffic of vehicles that yesterday afternoon could already circulate with normal".
In addition, the mayor explained that yesterday the trees detached on the road to El Albujón and Bahía Bella were removed, whose work could not be carried out on Monday due to strong winds.
Casajús has thanked the work of the municipal operators to restore normality in the municipality, after another episode of rains that affected several roads and where some streets of Los Nietos and Los Urrutias were flooded, where brigades from the Hidrogea concessionaire were working on Monday to fix it quickly.
